About Me
Twenty-four years ago my life blossomed with my degree in Elementary Education and
I haven't looked back. Hi, my name is Rita Seubert. I teach third grade in Blue Springs, Missouri. I
have been teaching for the last ten years in this district and before that I taught English as a
Second Language in Omaha, Nebraska. I was lucky enough to stay at home with my boys between
the two jobs for nine years. Getting my Masters was always a dream of mine, but I really never
thought it would happen. I'm excited to spend next May not only celebrating my graduation from
MU but also my oldest son's graduation from Blue Springs South High School. Like my family, I have
a love for learning and I will continue to grow as an educator and a person. My goal this year is to
instill my love for writing in my students.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I want to impact my students in a way
that would benefit them in their years to come. Through conferring I hope to share my love of
writing with them and encourage them to continue this into their future.
